CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Thursday morning Clarksville Fire Rescue was called to 213th 10th Street after heavy smoke was seen coming from a building that was the former Law’s Grocery Store. The street was blocked near the railroad tracks as firefighters quickly put out the fire.
Deputy Chief Ray Williams said no one was in the building at the time of the fire but nearby neighbors reported that there has been some activity going on in the building. Williams added that at the present time they don’t know what may have caused the fire.
There was damage to the rear of the building but no injuries were reported.
