CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Registration is now open for the second annual Valor Run.  The run, taking place Friday, Sept. 20 and Saturday, Sept. 21, will offer 10k, 5k and a Memorial Mile to honor the courage and sacrifice to those in Uniform.

This multi-day event will be held near Beachaven Winery, starting and ending near the American Veteran Traveling tributes, a collaboration with Welcome Home Veterans Celebration.

The event offers multiple distances for every runner. The 10k powered by CDE Lightband will take participants through the rolling hills of the Montgomery County country side. The Visit Clarksville 5k is a fast and flat course, suitable for runners of any ability. The Memorial Mile will be held on Friday, September 20. The Memorial Mile, sponsored by AARP, is a commemorative walk honoring fallen American heroes with a candlelight ceremony at the end.

Registration for the race is now available at www.valorrunclarksville.com. Race fees begin at $30 for the 10k, $20 for the 5k and $10 for the Memorial Mile. Prices will increase closer to the event.
