Raymond passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at The Waters of Springfield.
A celebration of life service for Raymond Woods, Sr., age 86 of Adams, will be Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi MO with Brother Bud Lawson officiating. Burial will follow beside his wife at Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
Ray was preceded in death by his wife Deloris, son Raymond Leon, and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his children; Ray (Glenda) Woods, Jr., Richard Woods, and Linda (Howard) Gardner, grandchildren: Chris, Mandy, Mark, Mike, Eddie, and Taylor, and many great grandchildren.
Ray served in the Unites States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a Missionary Baptist by faith. He loved gardening and his beloved dog Heidi.
