Cadiz, KY (CLARKSVILLENOW) – On Sunday May 19, 2019 at approximately 01:07 a.m. the Kentucky State Police Post 1 received a call from the Trigg County dispatch requesting KSP to investigate a fatal collision. The collision occurred on US 68 near Energy Lake Road.
Preliminary investigation shows that Kolton L. Bush, 20 of Forsyth, Ga., stationed at FT Campbell, KY, was traveling west on US 68/80. Bush was driving a 2006 Dodge Ram pick-up truck, and for an unknown reason left the roadway and went into a ravine. Bush was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Trigg County Coroner.
Trooper Austin Ramage is continuing his investigation. KSP was assisted on the scene by the Trigg County Coroner’s Office. Trigg County EMS, Trigg County Rescue Department and Trigg County Sheriff’s Office.
