Dunbar Cave Spring Fling
Saturday | 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
All of the activities for families to enjoy throughout the day are free and are sponsored by the Friends of Dunbar Cave. This is a rain or shine event.

Most presentations are held in the park’s media room, which can fill up quickly so be sure to allow your family plenty of time to get a seat.

Activities Include:
Warioto Chapter of the National Audubon Society bird hike.
APSU Professors will have reptile and snake presentations.
Duane Rice of the Tennessee Bluebird Society presentation.
Wings to Soar event, Save Our American Raptors, an educational program showing various native birds of prey.

Run For C.O.P.S

The Fifth Annual Run for C.O.P.S.(Concerns of Police Survivors) will be Saturday in Clarksville.

The event will kick off the 2019 National Law Enforcement Week with a fun, non-competitive, fitness event for the whole family. The 5k will take place in Historic Downtown Clarksville starting at the Clarksville Police Department and going through the downtown area.

Runners and walkers are welcome to participate in this event, as are persons with strollers and/or leashed non-aggressive dogs. This is not a chipped event and all proceeds will help support the local C.O.P.S. organization.

Chalk Walk Art Festival
Saturday | 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
This fun event is family friendly and free to attend!! We will have a variety of chalk artists for you to see and pose in fun one of a kind pictures! There will be plenty more than just that though; throughout the day enjoy live music, artisan vendors, food trucks, kid zone and you can even chalk it up too!! Jazz on the Lawn

The summer concert series at Live music Saturday begins at 6:30 p.m. and goes until 9:30 p.m. and the event is free. Because seating is “general admission,” it’s beneficial to arrive about an hour early to get both a good parking spot and a good view of the band.

“Rules of the Beach”: Bring your friends, a picnic, and a blanket and/or lawn chairs & valid ID. Do not bring pets (certified service animals are permitted), grills, tents, and outside alcohol.
