CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Willy’s Happy Endings, an animal rescue serving senior and special-needs dogs in Woodlawn and Clarksville, is currently looking for a lost dog by the name of Mona.
The dog is a shepherd mix weighing around 45 pounds, with what appear to be Rottweiler markings. She was last seen Friday, January 3, near her foster home at Hazelwood Road and Autumn Drive in Clarksville. She is wearing a collar with Willy’s Happy Endings lost tags on it.
Those at Willy’s Happy Endings are especially concerned for Mona’s safety because of the winter weather predicted for the area. They believe that she will most likely revert back to her stray mentality and run if chased, because she has only been in her foster home for a few weeks after years of being searched for by animal control.
If anyone should see or catch Mona, Willy’s Happy Endings asks that they either call the numbers on the tags or text or call 931-237-7273.
