Downtown @ Sundown
Downtown Commons’ Downtown @ Sundown Concert Series opens Friday, May 3 at 7 p.m. at 215 Legion Street. This event offers a night of free music and fun. Opener Whiskey Angel takes the stage at 7 p.m. and local group FEVER is the headlining act at 8 p.m.
Vendors like Grey Smoke Barbeque, Sacer & Savive, and ART Link, will be available along with Golly G’s. Beer and other beverages will be for sale for by the featured non-profit, Bikers Who Care. Chairs and blankets are welcome. No pets, coolers, smoking/vaping or outside alcohol is allowed on site.
Day in the Park
Clarksville residents are invited to join Parks and Recreation for a day in the park from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 in Liberty Park.
Citizens are invited to talk with Parks & Recreation staff about the variety of activities happening this spring and summer, register for activities, purchase memberships and learn about the future of the City’s parks. Staff also will be able to discuss job opportunities available this season. Visitors are invited to pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic in the park, along with games, giveaways and more.
Dunbar Cave State Park Cave Tours
Dunbar Cave State Park will resume seasonal tours inside the historic cave beginning May 1, 2019. Tickets are required and reservations are recommended. Cave tours frequently sell out and reservations are the only way to ensure a spot.
Tours are offered every Wed – Sun at 9, 11, 1 and 3. Cost is $14 for adults, $8 for kids ages 5 – 13. Under 5 not permitted.
