HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – An inmate who escaped from work-release in Christian County has been taken back into custody.
The Hopkinsville Police Department located Calvin Merritt Jr. at a home on Cypress Street Thursday morning, and was able to apprehend him after a short foot pursuit.
He was reported as an escapee Tuesday morning.
