Ashland City Police will turn off red lights and direct traffic through intersections to alleviate crowded roads during the Tuesday morning commute.
There were long delays along many county roadways on Monday, and officials say the school delay should help ease the congestion.
The district said on Facebook, “We understand that there could be some delays even with the late start on Tuesday so families are asked to plan accordingly and be patient.”
Cheatham County School day cares will be 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
