CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville Branch NAACP, APSU Chapter, and Youth Council host a Black History Month Banquet on February 28.
The theme for the event is “A Night to Remember, A Fight to Continue” and will include music, poetry and dance in support of the association’s Collegiate and Youth Council programs to fund members participation to regional, state and national conventions.
Sponsorship are still available to assist in providing awards and internships to high schools seniors and college students for service programs in government, business, health agencies and schools.
The banquet will be held at CMCSS South at 1312 Highway 48 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets $10 for youth, $20 for adults available through Eventbright.com or by emailing alishav84@gmail.com.
