WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – An 11-month-old was injured when gunshots were fired into an SUV traveling on Interstate 65 in Williamson County early Thursday morning.
It happened around 2:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes near the Cool Springs Boulevard exit.
According to Franklin police, someone in a light-colored Dodge Charger with blue racing stripes fired into the SUV’s rear passenger window.
The round passed through the vehicle and hit the opposite window and the baby was cut by flying glass, according to Franklin police.
There were no other injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
