ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A man was found shot to death inside an Ashland City home early Tuesday morning.

The Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office said deputies and Ashland City police officers arrived at the home on Bryant Rd. around 4 a.m. in response to a 911 call from a man requesting help.

According to the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Department, deputies entered the home and found 39-year-old Jeremy Tryon with gunshot wounds to his body.

Deputies arrived and discovered the victim, who appeared to be dead from gunshot wounds. The case is being investigated as a homicide.

The Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office said the victim has been identified as 39-year-old Jeremy Tryon.

Three people, including the victim, were in the home at the time of the shooting. Two people are currently being questioned by Cheatham investigators with the assistance of TBI.

Authorities said there is no danger to the public. An autopsy is being performed and police said murder warrants are expected soon.
