Robert Douglas “Hatter” Kasten, age 67, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Centennial Medical Center.
Robert was born September 28, 1951, in Schenectady, NY, to Bill Kasten and the late Marilyn Chambers Kasten.
He was a retired firefighter with the Fort Campbell Fire Department. He was a US Army veteran, having served in Vietnam.
A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, December 27, at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Tony Chester officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
In addition to his father, Robert is survived by his wife, Doris Williams Kasten; daughter, Glynda Lynn (Jason) Payne of Clarksville; brother, William “Bill” (Nancy) Kasten of Camp LeJeune, NC; sister, Mindy (Bob) Rusch of Jacksonville, NC; and two grandchildren, Alyssa Lynn Payne and Jayden Robert Payne.
