CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (VA TVHS) will host a quarterly town hall meeting Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 1 p.m. in the lobby of its Clarksville Outpatient Clinic, 782 Weatherly Drive Clarksville, TN 37043.
TVHS will discuss plans to expand and improve the services it delivers to veterans and host an open forum for questions with subject matter experts on hand to provide answers. Officials said individual concerns can be addressed after the meeting.
Representatives from the Nashville Regional Office of the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) will also be on hand to provide updates on VBA issues and to answer questions and offer personalized service to veterans and their families.
This event is free and open to all veterans and stakeholders.
“Town hall meetings give Tennessee Valley Healthcare System leadership an opportunity to meet veterans they serve face-to-face, ask for direct feedback, and provide relevant information on new and upcoming services and projects,” TVHS said in a release. “The meetings also give representatives from the Nashville VBA Regional Office a chance to provide personalized benefits assistance, to include claim and appeals status for Veterans and their dependents.”
TVHS is an integrated tertiary health care system comprised of two hospitals, the Alvin C. York Campus in Murfreesboro and the Nashville Campus, as well as more than a dozen community-based outpatient clinics located in Tennessee and Kentucky.
