CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Retail Federation predicts the average per-person tab this holiday season will reach $1,007.24, up 4.1 percent since 2017.

The personal-finance website WalletHub recently released its 2018 Holiday Budgets by City report.
The report lists Clarksville, TN at number 288, with an estimated average of $646 spent per holiday shopping household.
To help consumers avoid post-holiday regret, WalletHub calculated the maximum holiday budget for each of 570 U.S. cities using five key characteristics of the population, such as income, age and savings-to-monthly expenses ratio.
Cleveland, Ohio was last in the list with an average of $64 and Flower Mound, Texas topped the list with a whopping $2,761.
