HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-1 tornado hit south of Rineyville in Hardin County, KY.

The twister struck during a cluster of thunderstorms Halloween night, damaging small barns and out buildings. No one was injured.

Rineyville is located about 130 miles northeast of Hopkinsville.

Halloween Tornado Climate Fact: The last Kentucky tornado that touched down on October 31 was an F2 in Casey County, KY in 1934.
