CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation department is offering a full slate of programs for youth and adults at its three recreation centers in the coming weeks, many of which are first-time programs.

Youth Basketball Camp

This five-day camp will provide participants with instruction focused on shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding, and defense. This camp will take place from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. from October 8 through October 12 at Crow Recreation Center. The cost is $60 and pre-registration is required by October 1. Available to ages 12-18.

Tot Takeover
This drop-in program provides activities that focus on building confidence and increasing participant’s (ages 2-5) cognitive skills. Activities include sing-alongs, parachute games, and storytelling. This program is 10 to 11 a.m. Saturdays, October 6 through October 27 at Kleeman Recreation Center.  The cost is $3 per class.

Holiday Bazaar
This indoor shopping event provides vendors with the opportunity to sell new or slightly used items. This event will take place from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 17 at Burt-Cobb Recreation Center. Vendor spaces cost $20 and are limited.
