CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police are attempting to identify a woman who broke into the drop box at an apartment complex.
Police said the break-in occurred September 3 between 5 and 7 p.m.
The woman was caught on surveillance camera forcing the box open and stealing checks and money orders worth more than $8,000.
Police noted this incident is NOT related to the recent postal thefts in the area.
