CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The gates at Fort Campbell have reopened as of 1:30 p.m. Friday after a vehicle drove through without stopping.
As part of standard procedure, the installation’s gates go on lock down when this occurs.
It is unclear why the vehicle did not stop.
The gates were closed for approximately 30 minutes Friday, September 14, 2018 while officials investigated the incident. A similar incident occurred at the gates last month.
Gates on Fort Campbell are open.
All gates on Fort Campbell Kentucky are open and operational at this time.
