Fieldstone Place, a Clarksville Five Star Living Community, is home for many senior residents. With many residents, it takes numerous healthcare professionals to provide personalized medical services.

Fieldstone Place has started a new recognition program called the Healing Hands Award to honor Physicians in the Clarksville Community.

On August 21st, the first Healing Hands Award was given to Dr. Christopher Standley at an appreciation event hosted by Amedisys Home Healthcare Office. The award was presented to him on behalf of Fieldstone Place to honor him for his services in the community. Several of his staff members were in attendance for the surprise ceremony, including Amedisys Home Health, Avalon Hospice and Dynamic Healing.

Dr. Christopher Standley was born in Nashville, Tennessee and received his BS degree from David Lipscomb University, which he attended as a ROTC scholarship recipient. He graduated from Pikeville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001 and completed his Internal Medicine residency in 2004 at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He was board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2006 after returning from a deployment with the 101st Airborne Division in Iraq. He then served as Brigade Surgeon and staff Internist and Hospitalist at Blanchfield Army Medical Center with the 101st Airborne Division until 2008.

Since that time, he has served as a Hospitalist, Medical Director of Wound Care with a Healogics wound care center, served on the speaker panel for Smith & Nephew, owns and operates multiple clinics in middle Tennessee, and owns Dynamic Healing. Dynamic Healing was founded to improve the rapidly growing post-acute care industry by providing superior medical, wound, and behavioral health care to patients in various settings. Since its formation, Dynamic Healing has already proven Dr. Standley’s vision is a viable alternative to the status quo in most facilities. Now, he is implementing his expertise towards the inclusion of aesthetics and weight-management at Dynamic Healing.

Fieldstone Place’s “Healing Hands” award will be presented every three months to a health care professional that has gone above and beyond to care for their patients.
