CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A fourth suspect involved in a 2016 home invasion and shooting in Clarksville has been taken into custody.

Clarksville police said U.S. Marshals located Kamari Wilson Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at a home on Copperfield Court. He was taken into custody and charged in connection with the October 2016 crime on Blakemore Drive.

Investigators said Wilson and the other three suspects forced their way into the home and shot the male victim inside. Officers arrived at the scene quickly and the suspects fled before they could take any property.

The victim was transported to Vanderbilt by LifeFlight with non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was harmed.

Kevonte White, John Banks, and Damari Moore were all arrested in 2017, but Wilson eluded police until he was captured Wednesday.

Wilson was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with three counts of aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony. His bond was set at $50,000.
