CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) Classes are delayed until 10 a.m. due to a city water main break affecting the entire campus. Most buildings will not have water or ability to be cooled due to the outage.
According to an alert sent to students and faculty, the break was reported before 7:00 am at Sevier and Marion Street. Crews are on site and will begin digging once utilities are located. Please avoid the area.
The following buildings will be directly affected (low or no water pressure):
Sevier, Memorial Health, Bookstore/Subway, University Center, Miller, Power Plant, Ellington, McReynolds
Depending on the length of the outage, cooling water and steam to the following buildings could be affected: McCord, Browning, Clement, Claxton, Library, Dunn Center, Harvill, Blount, Sundquist, Music/Mass Communications, Trahern, Art + Design, Harned
