Johnny passed away on Saturday, Sep 1, 2018 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
A celebration of life service for Johnny Ray Hood, age 46 of Cumberland Furnace, will be Tuesday, Sep 4, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Louise United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Louise Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Sep 04, 2018 from 11:00 PM to 12:00 PM Louise United Methodist Church.
Johnny is preceded in death by his mother Diana Hood, brother Timothy Hood, and grandparents Doc Hood and Mamie Hood Moody.
He is survived by his father Roger Hood, children; Dylan (Jessica) Hood and Justin Hood, brothers Mark (Anita) Hood and Duane Hood, and granddaughter Adira Faith.
Johnny had a servant heart. He was kind and compassionate. He was always ready to help anyone in need. He attended Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
