CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – One person was injured in a shooting near a bar on Tylertown Rd. Thursday night.
Clarksville police were called to 1198 Tylertown Rd. (O’Connor’s Irish Pub) for a shooting that had already occurred. It is unclear whether the shooting occurred at or near this address.
The 51-year-old victim and the suspect, Allen James Martin, were involved in a physical fight when Martin allegedly retrieved a handgun and fired multiple times, striking the victim.
The unidentified victim was transported to a Nashville hospital in an unknown condition. Police said limited information about the incident is available.
Martin was charged with aggravated assault and unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $500,500.
