CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Residents can drop off toxic items around the house during Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, September 15.
Visit the collection site at 1230 Highway Drive from 8 p.m. to 1 p.m. to drop off hazardous items to be disposed of properly. This event is free and open to all Tennessee residents, but businesses are asked not to bring items.
Items that can be dropped off include:
-Home Improvement Products: Paint Thinners, Strippers & Adhesives
-Automotive Products: Gas, Kerosene, Oil Antifreeze, Fuel
Additives, Grease & Rust Solvents, Starter Fluids & Body Putty
-Lawn & Garden Products: Herbicide, Pesticides & Fungicides
-Household Cleaners: Drain Cleaners, Oven Cleaners, Wood & Metal Cleaners, Toilet Cleaners, Polishes & Disinfectant
-Miscellaneous: Pool Chemicals, Fingernail Polish & Remover, Etc.
