CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) A fire at a home on McGraw St. caused smoke damage but no injuries, according to Clarksville Fire Rescue.

Crews from stations 1, 3 and 4 responded to the call Tuesday just after 4:30 p.m. and brought the blaze under control within minutes.
Investigators say flames were coming out of the windows when they arrived but firefighters were able to contain it to one room.
The homeowner was checked out by Montgomery County EMS and the Red Cross is providing assistance to the family.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
