CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville man with several warrants on file who allegedly hit a man with a stolen Cadillac was taken into custody Thursday morning.
Police tracked down Brendan Earl to a home on Lafayette Rd. Thursday, July 26 around 8:30 a.m. When he saw the officers, he ran through a wood line and climbed a fence to get away.
Police said Earl ended up in the back yard of a home on the 100 block of Charlemagne Dr. He forced his way into the home by hitting a woman in the neck and pushing past her. Officers saw him go into the home and arrested him without further incident. The woman was not injured.
Earl, 23, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail around 11:20 a.m. and charged with aggravated assault, aggravated burglary, three counts of evading arrest, vandalism, reckless driving, due care, driving on a suspended license, failure to obey traffic signal, failure to maintain lane, and two counts of domestic assault. Several of these charges stemmed from unserved warrants.
