OAK GROVE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A teenage girl from Clarksville and a 26-year-old Oak Grove man were killed in a crash on KY 115 Sunday night.
According to Kentucky State Police, Marque Riley, 26, was driving a 2014 Dodge Charger northbound on KY 115 in the city limits of Oak Grove around 10:09 p.m. Asia Banks, 17, of Clarksville, TN was driving a 2010 Chevrolet HHR southbound on KY 115.
For an unknown reason, Riley’s vehicle crossed over into the southbound lane and struck Banks’s vehicle head-on.
Riley’s vehicle went off the northbound shoulder, while Banks’s vehicle went off the southbound shoulder and hit an earth embankment.
Riley was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Christian County Coroner Mike Stokes. Banks was transported to Tennova Hospital in Clarksville where she died from her injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
