CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Storm Prediction Center has increased the threat for severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and evening into the “moderate risk” category (level 4 out of 5) across northwest Middle Tennessee, with an “enhanced risk” (level 3 out of 5) over the rest of the area.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop across Kentucky late this afternoon, then spread southeast through Middle Tennessee this evening into tonight.
Damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes will all be possible with these storms.
