CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Veterans Plaza, located at 350 Pageant Lane in Clarksville, was placed on temporary lockdown Thursday afternoon while authorities took a suspect into custody.
The lockdown was lifted around 4:30 p.m.
According to Sandra Brandon with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), law enforcement in Dickson County issued a be-on-the-lookout alert for a wanted suspect they believed was in the Clarksville area.
Clarksville police were able to locate the suspect at Veterans Plaza and took him into custody around 4 p.m.
Further information about the suspect has not been released. There is no danger to the public at this time.
