Assessments are now open for youth interested in a competitive football and cheerleading program in Clarksville.
The Clarksville Screaming Eagles (CSE) Youth Sports Organization will hold fall assessments for football and cheerleading July 9-13 at Dalewood Park. Assessments are from 6-8 p.m. each night.
CSE is part of the national Amateur Athletics (AAU). Formed January 2017, the organization’s mission is to teach youth the fundamentals of tackle football and cheerleading. Emphasizing physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership skills in a positive and safe environment. CSE strives to provide opportunities for all participants to develop individual skills and abilities while being a contributing member of a team.
Children participating in the CSE travel football team will compete with 15 other youth football teams in the Mid-State Youth Football League (MSYFL). The fall season begins on August 18 and will run through November 10, 2018 with the culminating event being the MSYFL Championship Bowl.
If your child is between 5-years-old and 12-years-old (by Fall 2018) they are eligible to participate in the upcoming season. Interested families should attend one of the assessment nights, now through July 13 at Dalewood Park. Dalewood Park is located at 6 Dalewood Drive in Clarksville, just off Peachers Mill Road.
The Clarksville Screaming Eagles football team has been recognized as the 2018 Youth Spring Football League State and Regional champions. This is a huge testament to their dedication and commitment to the program, since this was their first time competing at this level.
