Montgomery Central wins 9-year-old Little League District Baseball Championship

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – Montgomery Central won the 9-year-old Little League District Baseball Championship Monday night.

Montgomery Central was the team to beat coming into the championship game, going undefeated through the tournament.

Clarksville National lost to Montgomery Central in the first game of the tournament, then battled out of the loser bracket to make it back to the championship game.

Montgomery Central claimed the District 9 championship with a 12-6 victory.
