NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Honor Vote program gives Tennesseans the opportunity to dedicate their vote to active-duty military personnel and veterans.

Through the program, registered voters in Tennessee can dedicate their vote to those who are serving or have served our country.

“The men and women of the U.S. military ensure our freedom and democracy, allowing us to cast a ballot each Election Day,” said Sherry Pickering, Executive Director of the Montgomery County Veterans Coalition.

How it Works:
1. Dedicate your vote to a U.S. veteran or active duty military member at GoVoteTN.com/honor
2. Share your dedication on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using #GoVoteTN
3. Receive a packet in the mail with an Honor Vote button based on the veteran or service member’s military branch
4. Wear the button and vote on Election Day in honor of the veteran or service member you choose
