DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Dickson County Sheriff Jeff Bledsoe says another search for Joe Clyde Daniels is being planned, according to WKRN News 2.
Sheriff Bledsoe told News 2 he and his deputies are not giving up on finding the 5-year-old boy.
On Monday, authorities met to talk about some areas that have not yet been searched, but an exact date has not yet been announced.
Joe Clyde was reported missing in April. A few days after the boy’s disappearance his father confessed to beating Joe Clyde to death. He has not told authorities where he took the child’s body.
His mother has also been charged in the case.
Police from across the state, as well as volunteers, have spent countless hours searching rural parts of Dickson County for Joe Clyde.
His parents, Joseph and Krystal Daniels, both remain jailed.
