CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service says widely scattered thunderstorms are anticipated each afternoon across Middle Tennessee from Tuesday through Sunday.

A few storms each day could become strong to possibly severe, with damaging winds and large hail possible.

Thunderstorms are also possible Monday afternoon, some of which could become strong to severe with damaging winds and large hail.

In addition, heat index values will peak in the 97 to 102 degree range on Monday afternoon across much of Middle Tennessee. Use caution if outdoors for long periods of time, as this combination of heat and humidity can quickly cause heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
