NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) An Air Quality Alert has been extended through midnight Friday.
The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) has issued code orange air quality alert for for a second day due to ozone.
Another Air Quality Alert has been posted for all day today. Those with repiratory issues should try to take it easy inside today.

Ground level ozone concentrations within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards. The general public is not likely to be affected. Active children and adults, and people with a respiratory disease such as asthma, should limit outdoor activity.
