CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police have made an arrest in the murder of 30-year-old James Wells Tuesday night at The Verge (1523 Nolen Road).
Detectives determined the fatal shooting occurred during a drug transaction. The suspect, identified as Shundarion Taylor, met with Wells and the two got into an altercation. Wells was shot in the back.
Police later found a handgun at Taylor’s residence with an expended shell casing in the chamber of the gun.
Sundarion Taylor, 22, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail Wednesday around 9 p.m. and charged with criminal homicide. A bond has not yet been set.
The investigation is still active and ongoing and it has been determined there were two other individuals involved in the homicide.
