NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man has been arrested after calling in a bomb threat to Nissan Stadium.
Metro detectives said they arrested 28-year-old Joshua Williamson after he phoned in a bomb threat to a Nissan Stadium security representative early Wednesday morning.
Officers said he then made another call, urging that Sunday’s CMA concert be cancelled.
Detectives said they were able to link Williamson, a Columbia resident, to the out of state phone number he used to place the calls. He was arrested at a downtown business he had just started working at.
Police said he admitted to making the calls in an interview after his arrest.
He is charged with making a false report of an emergency, which is a felony.
Williamson also had an outstanding warrant for aggravated burglary in Columbia.
