CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) At their Tuesday meeting the Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board presented Point of Pride Awards to a number of student athletes who competed in the TSSAA State Track Championship Meet.
The West Creek High School Boys 4 X 100 Meter Relay Team are the state runners-up. Those team members are Jaylen Hoosier, Tyrone Smith, Chris Parsons and Markeece Shuffrord and Shufford is also the state champion for the 100 meter.
The Northeast High School Girl’s 4 X 100 Meter Relay Team are also the state champions. Members of the team include Calandra Henry, Natalya Bryant, Ayanna Ledlow and Amaya Moore. Henry also won third place in the 100 meter and 200 meter and Cornelius Ross won third place in the triple jump.
