Robert (Bob) Ricketts Batson, Jr., age 70 of Clarksville, passed away May 31, 2018 at his residence.
A celebration of life service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday June 9, 2018 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Visitation with the family will be Saturday 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
Bob was born May 9, 1948 in Fort Riley, KS, to Robert (Bob) Batson, Sr. and Jean Miller Batson, he graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and was a property manager for Batson Development Co.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Batson and brother, Mark Batson. Bob is survived by his father; sons, Sean Batson, Bartrum (Christie) Batson, and Brian Mann; sister, Dianne Batson Smith; mother of his sons, Barbara McKenzie; grandchildren, Fynn and Aria. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane society of Clarksville.
Bob was known for always helping others. He was an avid UT Vols and Atlanta Braves fan. GO BIG ORANGE.GO BRAVES.
