Donald “Don” Bruce Corlew, age 70, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at his home.
He was born in Montgomery County, to the late Randle Bruce Corlew and Laura Morrison Corlew.
He was a self-employed financial product salesman, a member of Austin Peay’s Red Coat Club, and a long-time member of Antioch United Methodist Church. Don was also a double lung transplant recipient, due to Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. As a last tribute to Don, please consider being an organ donor.
A funeral service was hels Saturday, November 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Rev. Ben Falls officiating. Burial was at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday, November 15 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Don is survived by his wife, Brenda Coke Corlew; one son, Stephen R. Corlew (Amy); and two brothers, John M. (Cathy) Corlew and Thomas “Bill” Corlew (Rhonda).
Pallbearers will be Randy Corlew, Bill Corlew, Michael Morrison, Joel Bass, David Neblett, John Matthews, Jr., Bobby Mills, and Eddie Vaughn. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Red Coat Club.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, in care of Bobby Mills, 451 Fentress Lane, Clarksville, TN 37040.
