CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police are investigating a homicide that occurred late Saturday night (May 19) in Clarksville.
According to officials, police were in the area of Bob’s Discount Tobacco Store on Providence Blvd. just before midnight when they heard shots fired.
Officers found a man (identified as 21-year-old Julian Torres of Clarksville) who had been shot and was lying on the street behind the store.
The victim was transported to Tennova hospital where he died from his injuries. His identity has not yet been released.
Police have been processing the crime scene and conducting interviews. No further information is available.
