Christopher passed away on Saturday, May 05, 2018 at the TN State Veteran’s Home.
A celebration of life service for CW3 Christopher Frederick Henning (Ret), age 74 of Clarksville, will be Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
He was born on Apr 7, 1944 in Cedar Lake, Indiana to Christopher and Geraldine Henning.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Yang Henning, children; Christopher (Diana) Henning, Rebecca (Timothy) Seay, and Lisa Henning, step children; Pam Medina, Jan Mirlez, Sonya Kirk, Gerald (Linda) Kirk, and Donald (Dawn) Kirk, sister Patricia Goen, sister in law Marcia Henning, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Christopher served his country in the United States Army for 23 years where he received many awards and medals during his career. He loved fishing, reading, history, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
