CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville mother has been charged with criminal homicide in the death of her 4-month-old daughter.
Clarksville police said officers responded to a home on the 200 block of Orleans Drive Saturday, April 28 around 11:41 p.m. and found the infant unresponsive and not breathing. CPD officers and EMS personnel performed CPR and the child was transported to Tennova Hospital.
The child failed to regain consciousness and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Detectives began investigating the circumstances surrounding the child’s death and as a result the mother of the child, 25-year-old Sarah Danielle Scribner, has been charged with criminal homicide and booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
