CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) The Clarksville Screaming Eagles Youth Football Team (Super Division) took home an amazing win on April 21st in Chattanooga, making them the 2018 Youth Spring Football League Regional Champions. They defeated the Northern Alabama Mustangs with a final score of 26 to 20.
These young athletes’ next stop is the 2018 Youth Spring Football League’s Super Bowl held on May 5th in Brandon, FL. Some of our star players for this game are:
Offense:
• Travis Frey from West Creek Middle School with 45 passing yards, 60 yards rushing, 2 touchdowns, and 1 one-point conversion
• Mahlik Booze from New Providence Middle School with 105 rushing yards, 45 receiving yards, and 2 touchdowns
• Xander Young from New Providence Middle School with 15 yards rushing and 1 one-point conversion
Defense:
• Nigel James from Burt Elementary School with 2 tackles and 1 fumble recovery
• Servante Williams from New Providence Middle School with 4 tackles and 1 sack
• Gabriel Moore from Liberty Elementary School with 2 tackles and 1 sacks
