CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – Austin Peay State University’s baseball contest at Southern Illinois, originally scheduled for Tuesday, has been postponed due to forecast inclement weather.
The Governors and Salukis now will play a 3 p.m., Wednesday contest at Itchy Jones Stadium in Carbondale, Illinois.
The game, which can be heard on the Governors Sports Network (104.1 FM and 540 AM), is the first game in a scheduled six-game road trip for the Governors. Austin Peay continues the road trip with a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series against Belmont, Friday-Sunday, at E.S. Rose Park in Nashville.
The Governors and Bruins enter the week tied for fourth place in the OVC standings, just one game out of second place.
