Temperatures take a nosedive with possible heavy rain

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A cold front will cause temperatures to plummet into the low 40’s late Friday.

The front will also bring rain that could be heavy at times. The National Weather Service is expecting precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch Friday and up to a half inch on Saturday.

There is no severe weather expected. Sunday is the only day of the next seven that will not include some chance of rain.
