CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police have arrested the man in Wednesday’s robbery at the Madison Street Rite-Aid, and two previous robberies last year at that same location.
In the most recent incident, the suspect was spotted leaving the scene in a green Dodge Ram pickup truck, which helped investigators identify 44-year-old Thomas Holmes as the suspect.
During a police interview it was determined that Holmes was involved in similar robberies on October 28 and November 14.
In each incident a threatening note demanding drugs was passed to the pharmacist.
Holmes was taken into custody Friday by Clarksville Police with assistance from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Holmes is charged with aggravated robbery, with a $100,000 bond. Additional charges are pending.
