CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A suspect who robbed an 81-year-old woman in a Clarksville parking lot has been arrested after committing a second robbery.
Police identified the man as 52-year-old Timothy Howell of Madison, TN.
Howell is already in custody after being arrested for committing a robbery at Almaville Market near Smyrna on Jan. 19 around 7:45 p.m. He was apprehended after a pursuit on the morning of January 22 in Marion County near Chattanooga.
Another suspect involved in the Almaville Robbery, Dewayne Halfacre, is still at large and law enforcement officers are looking for him. According to Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, Howell and Halfacre are facing numerous charges in Rutherford County for: theft of property, false imprisonment, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession of a weapon during a dangerous felony, two counts of aggravated assault and aggravated robbery.
Howell will be served with a robbery warrant when he is returned to Montgomery County. The investigation is ongoing and further charges are possible.
