CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Associated Press reported Thursday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is rescinding the Obama-era policy that had paved the way for legalized marijuana to flourish in states across the country.
ClarksvilleNow conducted a poll to determine how Clarksville-area residents feel about the legalization of marijuana.
From Thursday afternoon to Friday afternoon, nearly 2,500 people answered the poll question.
The following are the results:
85 percent of respondents said they support the legalization of both recreational and medical marijuana.
8 percent of respondents said they only support the legalization of medical marijuana.
7 percent of respondents said they do not support legalization.
